Most of the books below are in my own library, or are resources I believe will help in your training.
Encyclopedia of Dim Mak
This book came out in 1997 and is no longer in print.
This is a fascinating look at some of the ideas behind traditional kung fu, Chinese medicine and development of kung fu techniques.
If you can find a copy, I highly recommend just as a way to increase your knowledge of the art.

Urban Combatives
One of the biggest influences on the development of Practical Kung Fu is Mr. Lee Morrison, founder of Urban Combatives in the UK.
Some of the information found in the Practical Kung Fu program is from Morrison’s online training. I have studied his methodologies since 2019 and have found it to be quite practical in dealing with potential criminal assault.
I highly recommend you check out his website and sign up for his online training. Urban Combatives.
The Barbell Prescription
A significant influence on my own fitness training is The Barbell Prescription.
This book was written for people over 40 in mind. The need for strength training increases with age, and this book provides one of the blueprints I follow in my own training.
I also recommend you check out Starting Strength: Basic Barbell Training, and Practical Programming for Strength Training.
