The last three basic kung fu stances we’ll cover for now are the Cat Stance, Back Stance and Snake Stance.

These stances are a bit different than the rest of the stances we’ve introduced so far as they have a bit less functionality.

However, they will show up in various kung fu forms.

The Cat Stance can be more of a transition stance than the other two, as it can set you up for a quick front snap kick.

The Back Stance and Snake Stance are generally found at the end of a sequence of movements for posing purposes.
